However, our experience at this restaurant was unacceptable! We are local to the area and have been going to this restaurant for YEARS. We know the food and know what to expect. my husband wanted for his birthday was Lobster from Flamingo Grill, NEVER AGAIN! The first lobster that came out had absolutely no flavor and almost had a chemical taste. We both work in the Hospitality Industry so we understand food waste and food costs and felt terrible to send it back, but for $30+ dollars we had to. The taller Dino (owner) stopped by our table and touched the lobster and said 'oh yeah this is way overcooked I'll get you another one'. A new lobster was brought to our table by a food runner and it tasted the exact same way! Again, we've been coming to this establishment for years and we know what the lobster typically tastes like.
